Preview: The New Orleans Hornets will head out to Salt Lake City to take on the Utah Jazz.

The Hornets come in as the seventh seed in the Western Conference; a single game behind Portland, and a game ahead of Memphis. New Orleans is coming off a loss on Saturday to the Boston Celtics. David West scored 32 points and Emeka Okafor ripped down 12 rebounds in the defeat. West is leading the team in scoring this season; averaging 18.7 points per game, while Okafor is grabbing 9.7 rebounds per game. The Hornets are the fourth worst scoring team in the league; scoring 94.7 points per game. The defense is ranked fourth; allowing 93 points per game.

The Utah Jazz are three games behind Memphis for the final postseason spot, with just 11 games to play. Utah has lost two straight games, and six of their last ten. The Jazz are coming off a tough loss to Memphis on Monday. Al Jefferson has turned into the top offensive man for the Jazz, since the trade of Deron Williams. Jefferson is the leading rebounder as well; grabbing 9.5 rebounds per game.

Our prediction for this game: New Orleans goes on the road, and puts the Jazz in an even worse position. Hornets 104-95.
